The major InterWell 2023 release brings a lot of new functionalities to enrich the software and unlock new features and applications to make your workflows more efficient and extend their applications. The survey migrator is of course always available and updates directly your former or current studies to immediately enjoy the new version.

Project, Survey & Data management

In a project database, the multi-survey is now supported, among many improvements in the import/export of the data. These are especially useful to seamlessly manage different grids and time steps, such as in the Stochastic inversion workflows.

Seismic Gathers conditioning options

The gather conditioning has been enriched with a new customizable mute picking and new pre-processing options (filters, mutes, trim statics…and more) to output better quality stacks and sub-stacks for all the seismic inversion workflows. This step of the workflow has also been optimized for Azimuthal (snail gathers) and Multi-Component (PS gathers) seismic data management and conditioning.

Historical modules enhancement and QC module revamp

Historical modules, such as wavelet estimation & structure have been enhanced for easier parameterization and optimization of disk space and computation time. QCs have been completely revamped to best suit your needs, being now a huge time-saver and guaranteeing the best practice application. This suite of modules now proposes automatic on the fly QC generation according to pre-defined templates based on Beicip-Franlab consulting experience.

Machine Learning tools for seismic characterization

Machine Learning features, such as PCA and Clustering, have been developed to be applied directly on key attributes and provide alternative workflows for either matrix or fracture characterization studies. These modules are applicable on 3D volumes, without any limitations in terms of number of attributes thanks to data reduction and computation optimization.

Advanced inversion workflows optimization

Advanced workflows, such as 4D inversion and azimuthal inversion workflow, are now more flexible and have been completed by new functionalities to achieve a better quantitative estimation of the anomalies.
